Find the right SaaS companies
ClearSync syncs Stripe subscription and billing data into HubSpot so SaaS teams can run revenue operations from their CRM.
We need SaaS businesses that use HubSpot and have some MRR coming in. Otherwise, there’s nothing to track. I would limit the search to more than 20 employees as a budget qualification.
| Target | Criteria |
|---|---|
| Companies | SaaS businesses, B2B or B2C |
| Team size | More than 20 employees |
| CRM | HubSpot |
| Revenue | Some MRR already coming in |
| What they need | What the plugin does |
|---|---|
| Revenue reporting | Full MRR and ARR change history from Stripe invoices and subscriptions |
| Customer visibility | Track upgrades, downgrades, churn and expansion revenue |
| Workflows | Trigger HubSpot workflows from Stripe events |
| Alerts | Failed payments, churn risk and renewals |
Build the list
First, build lists of SaaS businesses that qualify on budget. Look at whether they’re SaaS and have more than 20 employees.
The technology filter is inaccurate. A search with 20,000 contacts can fall to 50 when you select HubSpot. Instead, use the first campaign to build the list of people who actually use it.

A one-sentence email
Run a one-sentence email to ask a simple question. When they say yes and ask what it’s about, move them to the response where you pitch on the back end.
You’ve already had a response and established a thread. Now send the demo and offer the free trial.
Hey, first name.
Are you using HubSpot?
Awesome. We’ve built a plugin for HubSpot where you can track your entire MRR history from Stripe within HubSpot.
Here’s a demo showing how it works. Let me know and I’ll get you started on a free trial.
A short demo and free trial
Start the video on their website. Show one benefit that solves a pain, then give them the free trial code. This takes two minutes to record.
Use a thumbnail showing their website. If they need a demo to get onboarded, offer to go over their setup on a quick call.

If you want to get started with a free trial, I’ll be happy to go over your setup and give you the free trial codes on a quick call.
I’ll be available on X day at 5pm or Y day at 3pm. Otherwise, for convenience, here’s my calendar link.
Turn the reply into a meeting
As soon as they respond positively, send the pitch, then an iMessage and double dial within five minutes.
Ask a couple of questions. If they qualify, give them two time options and ask what works best.

A campaign you can run again
Take the list of SaaS companies using HubSpot with more than 20 employees. Set up enough volume to go through the list every 30 days.
Assuming 20,000 people and two emails per person, that means 40,000 emails per month over 20 sending days.
- People
- 20,000
- Emails per month
- 40,000
- Emails per day
- 2,000
| Infrastructure | Example setup |
|---|---|
| Inboxes | 100 |
| Emails per inbox per day | 20 |
| Domains | 50, with two inboxes per domain |
Direct response scripts
Keep the benefit short. Two days later, send email two using the same message with the first line removed. Then test multiple versions of the sequence.
Hey, first name.
Saw you’re using HubSpot. We’ve built a plugin for HubSpot that brings all MRR history from Stripe into your CRM and lets you run automations and workflows.
Can I send you a demo showing how it works?
Hey, first name.
Are you looking for a way to bring all of your MRR and ARR history into HubSpot?
If so, I’d be happy to give you a free trial code for ClearSync. It does exactly that. Plus, you can use your stats and build automations and reporting around them.
Let me know.
Keep finding winning scripts
Run variants together, check which ones get the best responses, and save the winners.
Give the AI the winning scripts, all the business context, sales assets and transcripts, plus the procedure for writing email scripts. Split test 30 new scripts every week to find more winners.
If the list is too small, run the campaign every 60 days instead.
